Mobility

Harbour Air makes every effort to serve guests with mobility challenges.

Some of the services we offer include pre- and post-board options, escorting guests with mobility devices to and from the aircraft, and having our crew offer a steady hand for assistance during boarding and deplaning.

Seaplanes present boarding challenges that vary from traditional land-based airlines.  Some of our aircraft have a short set of stairs or ladder that needs to be climbed, and these surfaces may be unsteady due to wave action. Since the boarding and deplaning process of a seaplane varies from traditional airlines, we encourage all guests to review the photos and video below. We ask guests with mobility issues to make an assessment well in advance of the preferred date of travel to determine ability to board.

If guests believe they may have difficulty boarding our aircraft or will require additional assistance, we suggest contacting our Customer Care team at customercare@harbourair.com or 1.800.665.0212 at least five days prior to their preferred date of travel. We would be pleased to discuss our operations and route specific procedures to ensure a safe boarding experience, and set up a time to visit our terminal in advance to see the aircraft in a pressure free environment if desired.
